June 24, 2014
Skyhigh Networks, a cloud visibility and enablement company, has raised $40 million in a Series C financing round led by Greylock Partners and Sequoia Capital, with participation from salesforce.com. The investment will be used to accelerate Skyhigh's expansion into international markets and drive product development; it also brings the company's total funds raised to about $67 million. Its last equity financing round came in mid-2013, when it raised over $20 million from Greylock and Sequoia at a valuation of $83 million. Skyhigh's software provides businesses with visibility into all of their cloud services, giving actionable insights into miscategorized services unnoticed by firewalls or proxies and reducing the time for overall security risk assessment.
