The first Facebook privacy officer, Chris Kelly, has led a $1.3 million Series A financing round to support mobile-video app Streamweaver. The startup is still seeking to raise an additional $500,000 to close out the round at $1.8 million. The Nashville-based startup has jumped into the crowded mobile-video market hoping to stand out by making the video experience more social and collaborative. The app allows friends to record videos on their mobile devices simultaneously, all while viewing their recorded content in a single, split-screen video. Mountain Group Capital and Tennessee Community Ventures were joined by new contributor, the INCITE Co-Investment Fund.
