Anyone in California hoping for an all-you-can-fly airline has their wish. Surf Air, a membership-based airline offering unlimited flights, has raised $73 million in debt and equity to help finance the purchase of the first 15 aircraft of an announced order of 65. The round consists of a $65 million senior facility from White Oak Global Advisors and $8 million in Series B-1 equity funding led by new investor ff Venture Capital and existing investors Anthem Ventures, Velos Partners and Base Ventures. The service works as a monthly membership, allowing unlimited flights covering the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara; the company has plans to expand to more airports throughout California. In May 2013, Surf Air raised $7 million in Series B financing at a valuation of over $27 million.
