The Jordan Company Raises Over $1B Toward Third Fund

The Jordan Company has raised about $1.08 billion toward its third buyout fund, which is targeting $3.1 billion of commitments. The firm targets a wide range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, retail and telecom, among many others. Its second fund, a $3.6 billion vehicle that closed in 2007, has recorded an 8.50% IRR as of March 31, 2013, and its debut fund, which closed in 2002 with $1.5 billion, has recorded a 16.49% IRR as of March 31, 2013.
