Crowdstar, famous for its Social Girl game, nailed down $11.5 million in venture financing a couple weeks ago. Another social game just for girls, Sweety High, landed $4.5 million in angel funding back in November. As more female-focused gaming startups join the mix, companies like Frenzoo are vying hard to become industry leaders by pioneering novel features like a 3D platform.
