Whether we're talking about payment processing, asset management or peer-to-peer lending (among other finance-oriented offerings), VC investors have shown an increasing interest in U.S.-based financial services companies over the past decade. 364 VC investors have made at least one investment within the industry in the last nine years, according to the PitchBook Platform. Of these investors, 64 manage between $100 million and $500 million of assets, while another 33 manage between $500 million and $1 billion.
