In the past five years, 477 VC investors have completed at least one deal involving a company headquartered in Israel, according to the PitchBook Platform, investing more than $3.9 billion during that span. The largest portion of that capital (43%) has gone into the country's IT sector, with B2C (22%) and healthcare (17%) comprising the next two largest pieces of the capital invested pie. Of all the investors, 76 manage between $100 million and $1 billion of assets, while another 53 manage $1 billion or more. Five of the six most active VCs in Israel over the last five years are headquartered in the country themselves, while the most active—Kima Ventures—is based in France.
