Human resources manager TriNet Group priced its IPO at $16 per share and has gone public, raising $240 million on the NYSE under the symbol TNET. The offering values the company at a little over $1 billion. TriNet helps businesses outsource human resources functions, providing services like payroll processing, human capital consulting, employment law compliance and more. General Atlantic (71.4% pre-IPO stake) has backed TriNet since a 2005 equity investment. TNET shares closed their first day of trading up over 19% at $19.10.
