Vectra Networks, a provider of a real-time cyberattack detection platform, has raised a $25 million Series C round of financing led by Accel Partners, with participation from existing investors Khosla Ventures, IA Ventures and AME Cloud Ventures, as well as new investors Intel Capital and Juniper Networks. The company's platform can instantly identify attacks and prioritize those that pose the highest risk so enterprises can focus resources in the correct place. The funds will be used to accelerate R&D, sales and marketing efforts. Vectra raised its Series B round about a year ago, and with its $5 million Series A financing the year before it grabbed a valuation north of $22 million. Eric Wolford of Accel has joined the Board of Directors as part of the financing.
