VER Taps Pantheon for €100M Emerging Markets Mandate
November 11, 2014
Finnish state pension fund Valtion Eläkerahasto (VER) has selected Pantheon to manage a €100 million PE mandate covering emerging markets. The allocation will be committed over the next three to four years to a portfolio of buyout and growth funds across Asia and other developing regions. At the end of September, VER managed €17.4 billion in assets, with about €244 million (1.4%) allocated to private equity investments. Some of the LP's other notable PE commitments have gone to EQT Partners' second credit fund and Impax Asset Management's New Energy Investors II.
