Vista Equity Partners has entered into an agreement to acquire Advanced Computer Software Group (LSE: ASW) for approximately £725 million. The deal implies an enterprise value of 15.8x adjusted EBITDA for the 12 months ended August 31. With over 20,000 customers, ACS provides software and IT services to the public, private and not-for-profit sectors that enable organizations to improve efficiency, reduce costs and drive growth. In the six months ended August 31, it reported revenue of £108 million and adjusted EBITDA of £25 million. The transaction at 140 pence per share represents a roughly 17% premium to ACS’s share price as of Monday’s market close.
