VoloMetrix, a people analytics technology company, has secured $12 million in Series B funding led by Split Rock Partners, with participation from existing investor Shasta Ventures. The company, which last raised a $3.3 million Series A1 round at a $12 million valuation in 2013, now has about $17 million in total funding. VoloMetrix uses Big Data to optimize organizational performance, helping improve companies’ organizational alignment, drive sales and promote employee engagement. It will use the latest round of funding to expand product development, hire additional staff and drive strategic initiatives and go-to-market approaches. As part of the deal, Split Rock's founder and managing director Jim Simons will join the company's Board of Directors.
