Voxeet, a provider of audio conferencing solutions for small to mid-size businesses, has raised $1.5 million in seed funding to expand the breadth of its operations, product development and marketing. The funding came from lead investor Partech Ventures, with participation by Aquiti, Kima Ventures and several angels.
Founded in 2009 and launched in April 2012, Voxeet offers audio conferencing services that include clear 3D HD audio, accurate speaker recognition and one-click transfers between devices, accommodating up to eight participants during a conference call. The company also offers mobility solutions, enabling users to transfer conference calls to their cell phones instead of having to hang up and redial when on the go. The Voxeet app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store or Google PLAY, and is also available for Windows PCs through the company's website.
