WatchDox Brings Total Funding to $35M in $12M Round

In March of last year, Palo Alto-based WatchDox closed a $9 million round of financing from The Blackstone Group, Shasta Ventures and Gemini Israel Funds. These investors have anted up again, along with new investor Millennium Technology Value Partners, for the company’s $12 million Series C round. WatchDox is a developer of SaaS for document control, tracking and protection solutions for work environments and individuals. According to a press release, the financing will allow WatchDox to “continue to expand its sales team as the company secures new customers and larger deals in the financial services, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, legal, energy, manufacturing, insurance and government markets." The company has raised $35 million to date.
