Since the start of 2014, over 1,000 VC investors have participated in at least one Series B financing globally, combining to close 1,045 rounds worth $19.4 billion. Capital invested at the Series B stage has skyrocketed amid a recent industry-wide surge in valuations, with 3Q netting a record $3.8 billion in such financings.
