Focusing our Top Investor Tuesday feature on New York this week, we found that 853 VC investors have completed at least one deal in the state since the start of 2014. Of the 1,100+ transactions completed in New York during that time, 49% have involved software companies, while 13% of deal flow has gone to the commercial services sector, 8% to media and 4% to retail.
