Zerto, a provider of disaster-recovery and replication software for virtualized environments, has raised $13 million in Series C financing. Leading the round was RTP Ventures with participation from existing investors Battery Ventures, Greylock Partners and U.S. Venture Partners. In conjunction with the funding, RTP Ventures managing director Murat Bicer will join Zerto’s Board of Directors. Zerto will use the funding to accelerate its product go-to-market strategy, as well as expanding its development, sales and marketing operations. Headquartered in Herzelia, Israel, with regional headquarters in Boston, the company has raised $34.2 million to date.
