26 Papa John's Pizza Stores Delivered to PJ United

The Halifax Group-backed PJ United, a franchisee of Papa John's Pizza stores, has acquired 26 Papa John's stores from Gaunce Management. With the acquisition, PJ United now owns 158 Papa John's locations throughout 10 states. Halifax partnered with PJ United and its founder in a 2007, management-led buyout of the company. The Washington, D.C.-based PE firm partners with managers and entrepreneurs to recapitalize and grow lower middle-market businesses.
