FarmLogs, a provider of farm management software and mobile apps, has raised $4 million in Series A funding led by Drive Capital, with participation from existing investors Huron River Ventures, Hyde Park Venture Partners and Hyde Park Angels. The Y Combinator-incubated company provides a platform that helps farmers plan, manage and analyze their farms' operations in order to increase yield and profitability. The funding comes on the back of major growth for FarmLogs and will be used to expand the company's team as it executes on an aggressive product roadmap for 2014. The company previously raised over $1 million of funding in 2012.
