Anheuser-Busch InBev merger with SABMiller takes giant leap forward

Beer lovers the world over take note: The proposed merger of Anheuser-Busch InBev and SABMiller has reportedly won regulatory approval from Chinese officials, after SABMiller agreed to sell its 49% stake in Snow, a major Chinese brewing company. In addition, SABMiller's board has reportedly agreed to recommend shareholders approve the all-cash offer from Anheuser-Busch InBev. The transaction is said to value the beer behemoth at £79 billion.
