Apax, Pamlico line up edtech SBO

Apax Partners has agreed to acquire edtech specialist MetaMetrics from Pamlico Capital, which has backed the North Carolina-based business since 2016. MetaMetrics is a developer of predictive analytics and data-focused tools used to measure skills in reading, listening and math. Apax will make its investment with capital from its tech-focused growth fund, which closed on $1 billion in 2017.
