Asos in exclusive talks for Arcadia brands

Ecommerce fashion group Asos has said it is in exclusive talks to buy clothing brands Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge and HIIT from Arcadia Group, the struggling UK retail empire of Philip Green. Sky News reported that Asos will pay more than £250 million for flagship brand Topshop. Fashion retail chain Next dropped out of the race for Topshop last week, and Authentic Brands and JD Sports Fashion were also previously reported to be making bids.
