Backstage and The Door join forces

Backstage Capital, a VC firm specializing in funding minorities, has acquired The Door, a company with a similar focus on underrepresented founders. As part of the deal, The Door founder Yves Louis-Jacques will join Backstage as a venture partner. Backstage is in the process of raising its second namesake vehicle, which will reportedly invest in female founders of color.
