Bain Capital's VC arm brings in $1B

Bain Capital Ventures has raised a total of $1 billion across three funds, made up of $650 for its eighth flagship fund, $250 for a late-stage co-investment vehicle and another $100 million from the partners at parent firm Bain Capital. The funds will be used to invest in companies across all stages in several industries, including SaaS, healthcare and fintech. The firm's portfolio includes Rent the Runway and SendGrid.
