BlackRock seeks $500M for climate-focused PE fund

BlackRock has announced plans to raise a private equity fund of at least $500 million dedicated to investing in the climate infrastructure industry as part of the Climate Finance Partnership, which was created alongside Hewlett and Grantham charitable foundations, France and Germany. The fund will focus on investing in a range of renewable energy solutions and electric transportation and mobility services in Southeast Asia, Latin America and Africa.
