In April 2011, Bluestem Brands filed for its $150 million IPO, only to postpone the offering several months later. Now the company has officially withdrawn the IPO altogether. Based in Eden Prairie, MN, Bluestem is an online and mail-order provider of general merchandise, including the Fingerhut, Gettington and Paycheck Direct brands. Deutsche Bank, Piper Jaffray, Oppenheimer & Co. and William Blair were set to serve as underwriters on the deal.
