Bug Music Selling to BMG

Independent music publisher Bug Music, a portfolio company of Spectrum Equity Investors, has agreed to be acquired by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts-backed BMG Rights Management, reportedly for about $300 million. Bug Music's catalog includes songs such as "Fever," "What a Wonderful World" and "The Real Slim Shady." The company has been backed by Spectrum since 2006.
