CalPERS Taps Cheryl Eason as Pension Fund's First CFO

The California Public Employees' Retirement System has named Cheryl Eason its CFO, a newly created position. In her new role, Ms. Eason will be responsible for managing the pension fund's finance processes, including budgeting, accounting, cash management and financial planning and analysis. Ms. Eason was most recently vice president, Financial and Plan Board Services for the British Columbia Pension Corporation.
