Camping World wins Gander Mountain at auction for $390M

Camping World (NYSE: CWH), the US recreational vehicle company led by Marcus Lemonis that completed a public offering in October, has won the bankruptcy auction for sporting goods retailer Gander Mountain, per Reuters, besting a competing bid from Sportsman's Warehouse (NASDAQ: SPWH). The deal reportedly values Gander Mountain at $390 million. Camping World reportedly plans to operate at least 17 Gander Mountain locations and to auction the rest of the company's more than 100 leases at a later date.
