Carvana picks up Carlypso

Carvana has acquired fellow peer-to-peer car selling service Carlypso, a 2014 graduate of Y Combinator that had reportedly raised around $1 million in seed funding. Carlypso co-founders Chris Coleman and Nicky Hinrichsen will assume new roles at Carvana, with Coleman overseeing vehicle-data acquisition and Hinrichsen leading the company's wholesale and trade technology operations. Shares of Carvana (NYSE: CVNA) dropped nearly 6% Wednesday.
