Cyan, a venture-backed, software-defined networking company, priced its IPO at $11 per share and went public. Its shares trade under the symbol CYNI on the NYSE. Cyan's SDN solutions aim to deliver orchestration, visualization and scale to networks. Clients include carriers, enterprises, governments and data centers worldwide. The company has taken in several years' worth of financing from VC backers Norwest Venture Partners, Azure Capital, Tenaya Capital, Focus Ventures and Meritech Capital Partners, among others. CYNI shares closed at $11.14 on their first day of trading.
