Energy Capital Partners Buying Power Stations from Dominion

Energy Capital Partners has signed a purchase and sale agreement with Dominion (NYSE: D) to acquire three merchant generation power stations. The stations include a 1,528-watt unit in Massachusetts, a 1,158-watt unit in southern Illinois and a 1,424-watt unit outside Chicago. The sale is expected to result in after-tax proceeds of approximately $650 million for Dominion, and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2013. Headquartered in Short Hills, NJ and San Diego, Energy Capital Partners focuses its investments in North America's energy infrastructure.
