EQT sells pest controller Anticmex to its long-hold strategy

EQT Partners is making its first investment via its longer-hold strategy and acquiring Swedish pest control specialist Anticimex from EQT VI fund. The transaction values the business at around 60 billion Swedish kronor (around €6 billion). The investment was made alongside Melker Schörling, now the second-largest shareholder, as well as GIC, AMF, Interogo Holding Long-Term Equity and Alecta. EQT VI acquired the company in a 2.7 billion kronor buyout in 2012.
