Patrick Hazel has been appointed chairman and CEO of Equinox Payments, a portfolio company of The Gores Group. Equinox Payments is a provider of high security electronic transactions solutions, offering payment terminals, applications and services to merchants. Mr. Hazel has been a member of the company's Board of Directors since November 2011. He was previously the president and CEO of security technology firm Semtek.
