Former Uber exec joins DNC

Raffi Krikorian, the former senior director of engineering for Uber at its Advanced Technologies Center in Pittsburgh, has joined the Democratic National Committee as its chief technology officer. Krikorian was responsible for the launch of Uber's first self-driving fleet before he departed the ridehailing company in February. Krikorian, who has also held an executive role at Twitter, will help the DNC improve its tech tools as the party strives to reach more voters, per Recode.
