HGGC reaches $446M buyout agreement

HGGC has agreed to purchase Nutraceutical International (NASDAQ: NUTR) for $41.80 per share in cash, representing total consideration of about $446 million and a 49% premium to the company’s closing share price last Friday. Nutraceutical is a manufacturer and distributor of nutritional supplements and other natural products sold primarily via health and natural food stores.
