HomeServe to expand in North America with $143M acquisition

HomeServe subsidiary HomeServe USA has agreed to purchase the home repair services business of Dominion Products and Services, a unit of utility company Dominion Energy, with Reuters reporting that the deal has an enterprise value of $143 million. The acquisition will expand UK-based HomeServe's footprint to 3.6 million customers in the US and Canada. The deal also secures a long-term agreement with DPS to provide home repair services to customers of Dominion Energy utility affiliates.
