Garnett & Helfrich Capital has entered into an agreement to sell Blade Network Technologies, a manufacturer of ethernet switches, to IBM (NYSE: IBM). The company was spun out of Nortel Networks by Garnett & Helfrich in 2006 with a $30 million equity investment. The company subsequently raised a strategic Series B round in late 2009 that valued the company at $230 million.
