Icelandair to nab WOW air for $18M

Icelandair has agreed to purchase peer WOW air for around $18 million, per Reuters. The deal will net Icelandair a company with about 1,500 employees and an estimated annual passenger capacity of 3.6 million in 2018. The airlines will continue to operate under separate brands following the transaction.
