InfoArmy Raises $17M in Series B

After selling Jigsaw to Salesforce, entrepreneur Jim Fowler is making another run at the crowdsourcing gamut with his latest venture, InfoArmy. While both companies utilize crowdsourcing to provide information about businesses, the primary purpose of Jigsaw is to offer contact information, while InfoArmy provides other companies with relevant information about their competitors. Mr. Fowler self-funded the company’s launch, and InfoArmy has now closed on a $17 million Series B round with participation from Norwest Venture Partners and Trinity Ventures.
