ItsOn Inks $15.5M More to Disrupt the Mobile Industry

ItsOn, a Redwood City-headquartered startup that's been in stealth mode since 2008, has inked a $15.5 million Series B financing from Andreessen Horowitz, Silver Lake AG and SV Angel. ItsOn is developing a cloud-based platform for "smart mobile services" that enables consumers to control their mobile service plans with a usage-based model. With the latest financing, Marc Andreessen will become an advisor to the company. Previously, ItsOn's disruptive plan caused it to raise over $9 million in venture funding.
