IWG extends deadline for buyout offers

Workspace provider IWG has extended its deadline to receive acquisition bids from UK private equity firm TDR Capital and US real estate investor Starwood Capital to July 21. The pair are among a group of suitors vying for IWG that also includes Terra Firma and Prime Opportunities Investment Group. IWG closed trading in London on Friday with a market cap of some £2.9 billion (about $3.8 billion).
