Crowdfunding platform Kickstarter has purchased Huzza, the provider of a live-streaming video tool used to launch Kickstarter Live, a feature that allows fundraisers to interact directly with people involved in their campaigns. Huzza founders Justin Womersley and Nick Smit will transform their current Vancouver headquarters into Kickstarter’s first international office and shift their focus to Live. Kickstarter has been backed by a wide array of angel and VC investors.
