KKR creates SinoCare, buys HeTian

KKR has launched SinoCare, a new platform company focused on acquiring hospitals in China. Concurrent with the company's launch, SinoCare has purchased a controlling interest in HeTian Hospital Management, an operator of two general hospitals and three dialysis centers in China's Anhui province. KKR's backing of SinoCare comes from its $9.3 billion Asian Fund III.
