Udemy, operator of an online teaching and learning community platform, has raised $32 million in Series C funding. The website allows users to partake in or host classes; anything from guitar lessons to corporate finance or yoga. It currently boasts 3 million students and over 16,000 classes. The new financing round was led by Norwest Venture Partners and joined by existing investors Insight Venture Partners and MHS Capital. This is the first funding for the company since a 2012 Series B financing of $12 million (that gave the company a valuation of nearly $39 million), and brings its to-date funding total to roughly $48 million.
