Lightyear Leading Investment in Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford

A group led by Lightyear Capital has agreed to make a controlling investment in Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford. Lightyear will be investing through its Lightyear Fund III. CGSC is a wholesale insurance and reinsurance broker specializing in hard-to-place insurance policies. Among the company's existing investors are HM Capital Partners and Ridgemont Equity Partners.
