Madison Dearborn Selling Bolthouse Farms to Soup Giant

Madison Dearborn Partners has agreed to sell Bolthouse Farms to Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB) for $1.55 billion in cash. Owned by Madison Dearborn since 2005, Bolthouse offers carrots, beverages and salad dressings. The company markets its products under the Bolthouse Farms, Earthbound Farms and Green Giant brands.
