Apollo Investment Management-backed Metals USA has set the terms for its IPO with a plan to sell 10.5 million shares on the NYSE under the symbol MUSA for between $18 and $20 per share. The company plans to use its proceeds to repurchase approximately $171.6 million of its 2007 notes. Apollo does not plan to sell any stock through the offering. Metals USA previously filed to go public in 2006 but withdrew the offering in 2007 only to refile in May of 2008. The company has been waiting patiently since.
