Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) has confirmed its acquisition of Cloudyn, the developer of a SaaS cloud management, monitoring and optimization tool for businesses. Microsoft reportedly paid roughly $60 million for the company. Cloudyn's software will help the tech giant's users manage and optimize their cloud usage. Founded in 2011, the software startup had raised about $20 million in VC funding from investors including Carmel Ventures and Titanium Investments.
