San Francisco-based mobile ad startup 4Mads has been acquired by InSequent, a service that lets users create instant mobile websites. 4Mads, which raised $1 million from a group of angel investors when it launched early this year, had 3,000 customers at the time of purchase and was expected to be profitable in December. The acquisition gives InSequent an adverising component to its mobile repertoire, though the two companies will remain largely separate until next year.
